A V12 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 no less at this years Pikes Peak Hill Climb

 

The 101st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb takes place this weekend in Colorado. Whilst previous media releases earlier in the year had placed the thought that some kind of Pikes Peak iteration of the new turbo charged Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 was going to be within this year’s line-up – that is sadly no longer the case with that dream fading away soon after its announcement.

Glancing through this year’s remaining entry list however, all is not yet lost for all us Aston Martin fans as what is better than a V8 AMR Vantage GT3 – but a V12 AMR Vantage GT3 of course.

That is certainly the plan for one such one such (unnamed) team as experienced Pikes Peak racer Tommy Boileau gets set to run their #007 2015 AMR Vantage GT Pikes Peak this weekend in the Unlimited Class.
