Originally dominating the GTH class at the start of the season despite Clark’s lack of GT4 competition up until that point, the #82 crew have seen both the #99 and #30 Ginetta GT4 crews start to knock them off the podium over recent rounds to where the #82 crew has seen its class lead reduced to just twenty-nine points going into this round.
Two races again across both Saturday and Sunday will see the ‘Am” side to the driver equation race the opening and closing spring races as a solo driver before the second driver is permitted to compete within the two intervening endurance rounds.
The two Oselli Motorsport Aston Martin Racing GT4 crews of Matt Eddolls and Sam Maher-Lougham should again be in attendance with their green liveried Vantage GT4 Evo whilst Chris Valentine is again being listed as (presumably) a sprint race only participant within the teams older generation GT4 like he did last time out at Silverstone.
Only the #82 car has any class (or indeed overall championship) winning possibilities should the races go well for them at both Donington and at the season finale from Snetterton in about three weeks’ time.
