More AMR powered success at last weekends NLS 9 event

It was another successful outing for the Aston Martin Racing powered contingent at the end of Saturday’s nineth round of the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie as two crews came through for another class podium.

Continuing their newfound form around the Nurburgring-Nordschleife circuit saw the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport crew of Mateo Villagomez, Christian Krognes and Anders Buchardt continue their SP9 Pro-Am class winning streak to two as they came through as victors after this weekend’s four-hour race.

There was further success for the #191 Prosport Racing Vantage GT4 entry of Marek Bockmann and Raphael Rennhofer who scored a P2 result within their SP8T class with the latter driver also on driving duty within the team’s #175 SP10 class entry of Benjamin Hites and Jorg Viebahn but that car had to be abandoned trackside close to the halfway stage with a puncture.

The final Prosport Racing entry for Maxime and Guido Dumarey finished sixth in class in their #140 entry.

The final round of the NLS season will be in two weeks’ time.
