Watch on onboard as Abra takes the Barwell V12 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 round one of the fastest tracks in Europe during the second round the of British GT Championship.

With the first round of the British GT championship now just three weeks away, Complete Racing AMR have been testing at Silverstone with their V8 Vantage GT4.


Now an Official Aston Martin Racing partner team, Complete Racing AMR will enter the full British GT championship with their sights firmly set on taking the title after a development year in 2012.

The 2013 British GT season gets underway at Oulton Park March 30th and will feature 6 rounds in the UK with the now traditional away-race taking place at Zandvoort, in the Netherlands.

The British GT Championship moves to Brands Hatch this weekend, to get you in the mood here’s Beechdean Motorsport’s Jonny Adam to guide you round the GP circuit in last year’s Aston Martin DBRS9.

Tickets are still available for this weekend and will be obtainable on the gate too. Qualifying is on Saturday at 5:35pm BST and the two-hour race gets underway on Sunday at 2:10pm BST

The Aston Martin Le Mans festival saw the first competitive outing for Generation AMR in 2012. Britcar 24hr class winner, Robert Nimkoff was joined by European GT4 championship race winner, James Appleby in the team’s GT4 V8 Vantage. James started from 12th overall and quickly made his way through the field in overtaking much more powerful cars in the wet conditions.

At Le Mans this year, Aston Martin Racing Customers had the unique opportunity to race at the Le Mans circuit as part of the world’s most famous Sportscar racing event, the 24 hours of Le Mans. The 45 minuet race was won by the Villois Racing Vantage GT2 driven by Brian Lavio & Luca Filippi.
