JMW Vantage GT2
The countdown clock has reached zero, as the team set up at Paul Ricard for the opening race of the 2010 Le Mans Series this weekend.

JMW Motorsport's new adventure with the Aston Martin Vantage GT2 begins here, with Rob Bell and Darren Turner behind the wheel.

This weekend's opening race will be an epic 8 hour affair. With a healthy GT2 class of 13 teams, this first race is eagerly anticipated by competitors and fans alike.
The 3.61 mile circuit at Le Castellet, Paul Ricard, is well known to the teams as it is the location of the pre-seasion official LMS test.

2010 is the 40th anniversary of the track which has undergone massive redevelopment since being bought by Bernie Ecclestone in 1999. The track is now often referred to by it's new full title - Paul Ricard High tech test Track which reflects its new status. With it's innovative red and blue strips in place of gravel traps, it is modern in both look and feel.

The circuit is an elongated design, dominated by the Mistral Straight, and with just 14 turns. This is truly a circuit where the sportscars of the Le Mans Series can stretch their legs.

TV coverage this weekend will be provided by Eurosport (times here)and, as always, we highly recommend you tune in for live, FULL race coverage from Radio Le Mans.
