Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 begins testing

Testing of the brand new Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 commenced this week at Prodirve's Warwick proving ground. The Vantage GT3 will replace the DBRS9, launched in 2005 at Le Mans, and which has since seen 26 chassis built and raced to multiple victories in national and international series across the world most recently with Beechdean winning the final round of the 2011 British GT Championship.
We’ll wait for the customer teams to make their own announcements - the first of which should be as early as next week - But expect to see as many as three cars in the British GT championship with other teams embarking international campaigns.
