Aston Martin Racing enter WEC and Le Mans

The ACO has today announced the entry list for the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours and World Endurance Championship, the 80th edition of the French classic will feature two Aston Martins on the grid with further Aston on the reserve list.

AMR will be represented in both the GTE-Pro and GTE-AM categories with Stefan Mucke named in the Pro car and Christoffer Nygaard leading the Am car. The team will also contest the inaugural World Endurance Championship with a solo V8 Vantage in the GTE-Pro category.

Long serving Aston Martin factory driver, Darren Turner is named in the second GTE-Pro entry which is currently third on the reserve list.

Also worthy of noting is that Pescarolo will enter a Pescarolo 03 - Judd which will be based on the AMR-One chassis.
