Three AMR GT4's arrive for European GT4 Series test
Tuesday, March 21, 2017
Two teams, eight drivers and three V8 Vantage GT4's have arrived at the Circuit Dijon Prenois, France for tomorrows official collective test for the European GT4 Series Northern and Southern Cup Championships.
Two cars and eight drivers from last years Am Champions, Street Art Racing have arrived with two highly decorated cars as they embark on their journey into the 2017 championship with cars entered into both the Northern and Southern Cups.
Joining them in France is the David Appleby prepared Generation AMR SuperRacing car of James Holder and Matt George with their beautifully liveried green and black Aston. Having competed in the British GT series last year in their first competitive season together, the driver duo will be looking to develop as they compete within the Southern Cup Championship together with selective visits to the Northern Cup calendar.
Missing from the test, amongst many more from the Northern Cup Championship, is the V8 Vantage GT4 from Academy Motorsport with Matt Nichol-Jones and Will Moore competing in both the Northern Cup and the British GT Championship.
It is thought that the proximity of tomorrows test with the Media Day of the British GT next week and the first round of the Northern Cup itself at Misano in just ten days time being the main reason for the non attendees.
