This week’s two-day Official Test ahead of next months Total 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps came to a conclusion today for the fifty GT3 cars that attended.

Spread over five sessions around the iconic 7km circuit, the teams had they one and only chance to experience the circuit in what turned out to be wet and dry, day and night conditions before the start of the main event still some three weeks away.

Garage 59 and their two Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3’s were still our main attraction as drivers Alex West, Chris Goodwin and Jonny Adam tested aboard their #188 Pro-Am car and Andrew Watson, Valentin Hasse-Clot and James Pull tested their #159 Silver Cup entry.

No prizes again being on offer for taking unnecessary risk, the test was another systematic test for the AMR team, getting in that crucial data and preparative works before the #159 entered into the top 10 on the timing board in the final session of the day.

With the 24-hour race being part of both the GT World Challenge Europe and Intercontinental GT Challenge Series, the extended points on offer will be critical to each cars years end Championship aspirations with Watson/Hasse-Clot leading in Silver Cup and the #188 crew in P3 in the Pro-Am Championship.
