Whilst their older ‘sister’ of the family will be busy preparing herself for the ten hour endurance race at the latest round of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship season from Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, the #52 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT3 will be again busy in the next round of the New Zealand South Island Endurance Series.

Last time winners again from the Mike Pero Circuit near Christchurch, this penultimate round of the South Island Series sees Darren Kelly and Alex Riberas move over to the Timaru International Circuit to the south of Christchurch for the latest three-hour race of the delayed 2020 season.

This time, the entry list appears not to include the yellow AMR Australasia Vantage GT8R that also took a class podium finish last time out but does still list over twenty four cars spread over their five classes ranging from Class A ‘tin-tops’ through to Class E GT3 machinery.

Securing a P3 class podium last time out at Charlotte, the #23 IMSA Vantage GTD regular crew of Roman de Angelis and Ian James will be again joined by AMR factory driver Darren Turner for this weekends events at Road Atlanta.
