Another strong entry list has today been confirmed by the SRO GT4 America Series today ahead of their opening round of the season at Sonoma next weekend.

Many of the thirty-two GT4 cars from eight manufacturers have already been testing at the circuit over the last few days ahead of a slightly different look to the 2021 season where just the Am Class drivers will race in a pure GT4 event whilst the Pro-Am Sprint X crews will now compete alongside GT3 machinery in the GT World Challenge America Sprint races.

What has also been filled in are the missing names aboard the six announced Aston Martin Racing GT4 entries from teams including GMG Racing, Bsport Racing, Dexter Racing, Heart of Racing, WR Racing and Notlad with Rennsport 1.

We have already heard from the guys at Notlad Racing and their drivers Matt Dalton and Pat Gallagher, Bryan Putt and Kenton Koch at BSport Racing and AMR newcomers Jason Bell with Andrew Davis at GMG Racing.

People we weren’t sure about included the brand-new Heart of Racing AMR Vantage GT4 which is now confirmed to include drivers Ian James and Gray Newell whilst Paul Terry also returns (having departed Rearden Racing after last year’s efforts) having now set up with former World Challenge GT Champion and TRG-AMR racer Brandon Davis with WR Racing whilst the new Dexter Racing team set up their AMR GT4 for drivers and family members Ryan Dexter and Warren Dexter.

These cars join the single AMR Vantage GT3 of Ian Lacey Racing where drivers Frank Gannett and Drew Staveley who will compete in the GT world Challenge America Series who have also been testing recently at the California circuit.
