Street Art Racing complete successful two day GT Open test at Barcelona

Friday, March 18, 2022

Belgium team Street Art Racing yesterday completed their two-day official GT Open Winter Series test at the Circuit de Catalunya with their two Aston Martin Racing cars.

Having been joined by Jordan Witt for the first day, series confirmed AMR Vantage GT3 racer Pascal Bachmann was then joined by Belgian Pierre Piron for the second day. Like Witt, we do not know if either or drivers will be later confirmed as co-driver for Bachmann but we doubt it considering their driver grading with Witt being a Silver and Piron ungraded.

That news will come out in due course before the opening round of the series later in May.

They were again joined by their AMR Vantage GT4 crew of Jahid Fazal-Karim and Julian Darras who will compete together in the parallel GT Cup Open Series for GT4 cars. Only a broken radiator in the GT4 towards the end of the day dampened the learning curve.

Again, lap times were going in the right direction over the second day compared to the first and like most Street Art Racing cars – the cars looked sublime in the early spring Catalan light.
