Heart of Racing to enter Spa 24 with TF Sport

Alex Riberas, Ross Gunn, and Charlie Eastwood make up the driver lineup behind Heart of Racing’s team-first entry into the 24 Hours of Spa.

The team will enter this year's race in partnership with TF Sport, a team that is no stranger to Heart of Racing’s weapon of choice: an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Both Heart of Racing and TF Sport are official race partners of Aston Martin Racing and have been for several years.

The Heart of Racing team, which usually competes in the United States, will tackle the gruelling 24 hours for their first overseas entry in a GT3 car.  

“The Spa 24 is one of our bucket list races,” says HOR Team Principal Ian James. “Logistically, it was impossible for us to do it alone this year. Joining forces with a top caliber team like TF Sport in the hunt for one of endurance racing’s crown jewels is a great opportunity all around.”

Riberas, Gunn, and Eastwood have each driven the 24 Hours of Spa during their careers but will debut together in the Pro class at this year’s race. Riberas described returning to the Spa 24hr in an Aston Martin as part of this program as “exciting and motivating”.

“We are under no illusions of how challenging this race is. The GT3 teams we’ll be up against are the best in the world and their knowledge of the cars and championship is as deep as it gets,” James says. “We hope to be in the mix and we trust Alex, Ross, Charlie, and the Aston Vantage GT3 will get us there.”
