Another new name tries out the AMR Vantage GT4 at the Nordschleife this weekend (UPDATED)

The Nurburgring based PROsport Racing Aston Martin Racing powered team take on board another driver line aboard one of their Vantage GT4’s for this weekend’s latest round of the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie (nee VLN).

Two months have now passed since the last six-hour round of the series that incorporates both the Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit as well as the notorious Nordschleife circuit, ahead of the twelve hour race on Saturday.


Whilst the full entry list is still awaited, the PROsport Racing team has already published that Emil Heyerdahl will be joined by established GT racer Celia Martin aboard one of their Aston Martins. This is expected to be in addition to their full season NLS Series AMR Vantage GT3 and GT4 entries.

The team's ADAC GT4 Germany and GT4 European Series driver, Hugo Sasse is also due to compete within one of the teams 'training' Porsches.

UPDATE

Four Aston Martin Racing Vantage platforms have now been confirmed for this event with the sole Vantage GT3 of the PROsport Racing team competing with their two Vantage GT4 platforms as well as an older normally aspirated model from the Schnitzelalm Racing Team.


Drivers Maxime Dumeray, Jean Glorieux and Christoph Breuer compele ten #17 GT3 Pro-Am entry whilst Guillaume Dumarey, Emil Heyerdahl and Celia Martin complete with #175 SP10 car with Guido Dumarey, Alex Walker and Yevgen Sokolovskiy complete their usual #176 SP10 entry.


The #132 Schnitzelalm Racing SP8 AMR will be piloted by Walter and Fabio Laschet.
