Five Aston Martin full season entries this time around in the ADAC GT4 Germany Series

Thursday, May 11, 2023

Five Aston Martin Racing powered Vantage GT4 crews have just completed the official two-day test at Oschersleben ahead of this season’s opener of the ADAC GT4 Germany Series at the circuit in two weeks’ time.

Unlike last season when the majority of Aston Martin runners came from the Doer Motorsport team, this season sees the Prosport Racing team take that honour as they prepare the cars for four of their own crews with the Doer team making up the fifth.

Of course, the Prosport Racing team are defending Champions after Mike David Ortmann and Hugo Sasse eventually claimed that top honour and return again together for this season with the coveted #1 number plate.

They will be joined with pairings an all-woman line of Celia Martin and Fabienne Wohlwend in another with brother and sister, Jessica and Andreas Bachmann in a third with Yevgen Sokolovskiy also returning to the series with an as yet unidentified co-driver.

The #007 Doer Aston Martin will be crewed by Ben Dorr and Theo Nouet within what has been confirmed as a twenty-nine car full season entry.

Other names from last season’s up to nine AMR Vantage GT4 entry into the series also return but sadly (for us) have signed with other OEM machinery.

The opening two, one-hour races take place at Oschersleben over the weekend of 27/28th May.
