Just three Aston Martins elect to take on the Nashville street circuit of GT America next weekend

Sunday, July 30, 2023

Twenty-two GT3 and GT4 race cars will make their way to the temporary street circuit of Nashville for the 2023 running of the Music City Grand Prix round of the GT America Series next weekend.

Again running solo from the usual trilogy of SRO America sanctioned series, the bronze driver only series will see three Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4’s compete around the tight and twisty road circuit with each of Ross Chouest, Jason Bell and Gray Newell placed within the top four of the GT4 Driver Championship going into this round.

Chouest and his #50 Chouest Povoledo prepared AMR lead the championship on 159 points with an incredible seven podium finishes under his belt from the ten races completed so far whilst Bell and his #2 Flying Lizard prepared car lie just nine points behind in second and Newell and his #25 Heart of Racing prepared car fifty-eight points back in fourth.

Again running two forty-minute races over the course of the weekend, the one thing that we do not want to see (but probably will) will be the Safety Car!!
