Five Aston Martins for NLS 5 this weekend

Just over one hundred and twenty mixed class racing cars will reconvene at the Nurburgring Nordschliefe on Saturday for the latest round of the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie after the previous round of the season there just over two months ago.

This weekend’s penultimate round of the NLS Series will be a four-hour affair will feature five Aston Martin Racing powered crews amongst the grid with crews again from both the Prosport Racing and Dorr Motorsport teams.

The sole AMR Vantage GT3 of the quartet will again be the full season #17 entry from Prosport Racing for drivers Maxime Dumarey and Marek Bockmann behind the wheel of their SP9 Pro-Am car. The locally based team will also field just two of their AMR Vantage GT4’s this weekend, the #175 SP10 class entry for the new drivers Niek Hommerson and Marnix Hommerson as well as their #140 SP8T classed Vantage GT4 of Guido Dumarey and Harry Rice.

Then from the Dorr Motorsport team, their full season #169 SP10 class entry of Oskar Sandberg, Nick Wustenhagen and Aaron Wenisch who will pair up within the garages with their stablemate #179 SP10 of Niklas Abrahamsen and Phil Dorr.

Weather permitting of course will see Qualifying start early again from 08:30hrs local with the start of the race being waved off at 12:00 noon.
