Both of Aston Martin Racing’s new European powerhouses have been making recent proclamations about expanding their 2025 racing programmes into both GT3 and GT4 series but this week, we saw the Walkenhorst Motorsport team confirm part of their first GT4 based driver line and series confirmed.

Having spent a very productive part season last time out with the Dorr Motorsport team sees Norwegian racer Niklas Abrahamsen switch to the Walkenhorst team this time out for his 2025 assault upon the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie with one of the team’s reported new AMR Vantage GT4 Evo’s. His co-drivers are still to be confirmed.

So far, the Belgian based Comtoyou Racing AMR team has already raced a pair of its older Vantage GT4’s at the Jeddah finale of the GT4 European Series last season and has been making similar noises over the winter months but has so far not confirmed anything or anyone to date as with the Dorr Motorsport team advertising for similar Vantage GT4 interest within the two Nurburgring Nordschleife based series.

It’s a very busy time for the teams at the moment attracting suitably abled and funded drivers through their doors compared to that of their racing rivals.
