After something of a two-month interlude since their last round at Vila Real at the beginning of July, the Iberian Super Cars Series returns to the track of Valencia for its fourth round of the season with another sizeable entry of forty-five GT4 based entries.

Within their midst will also be another sizeable presence of Aston Martin Racing powered entries as the Araujo Competicao, Racar Motorsport and Gianfranco Motorsport teams return with their GT4 Pro, GT4 Pro-Bronze, GT4 Bronze and GT4 Am classes crews for this weekend’s two fifty-minute races.

Last time out at their historical venue of Vila Real, it was something of a mixed bag of results for the then five Aston Martin Racing powered entries after it was a P1 and P2 finish in Am for the #777 Gianfranco and #707 Racar entries respectively whilst the #77 Racar AMR also secured a P3 finish in Pro.

Race two was a similar affair with the #777 crew again taking top honours in Am with the #79 Racar entry also securing a class win in Bronze with its sister #77 taking an improved P2 finish in Pro.

Those results leave Roberto Faria and Mathieu Martins leading the Pro class with their #77 Racar entry with Vasco Oliveira and Francisco Carvahlo leading the way within their #79 Racar AMR in Bronze with Ruben Vaquinhas and Pedro Bastos Rezende doing likewise within their #777 Gianfranco AMR powered entry in Am.

Track action begins on Friday with Private testing before the start of more formally timed sessions on Saturday.
