Fourth Tim lucky for the E2P Racing Aston Martin in the 24H Series?
If at first you don’t succeed, then try, try, try again will certainly be the moto this weekend for the Spanish based E2P Racing team as they prepare to embark upon the fourth round of the 24H Series European Endurance from Paul Ricard in southern France.
Having started this season with their new Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 Evo in lieu of their trusted Porsche, things haven’t been easy for the Pablo Burguera ran team as technical issues forced them to stop prematurely within the opening two rounds of the season before an errant Porsche inadvertently took the #90 car out of the race at a fast-sweeping section of the track last time out in Misano.
Going into this fourth round of the season amongst thirty-two other multi-classed rivals, the Burguera, Antonio Sainero and Oliver Campos driven car would presumably just like to finish a race within their Aston Martin before dreaming of something more achieving.
Private testing begins in France on Thursday before more officially timed sessions beginning on Friday with both Free Practice and Qualifying before a 10:00hrs start local for this twelve-hour race.

E2P Racing hoping for something positive within this weekends 24H Series visit to Misano
Having got their European season underway at first Mugello and then most recently from Spa Francorchamps a month ago, apparent engine issues after an off in the wet of Mugello saw the team replace the engine only for more technical issues around the power plant saw the team lose out within their P2 overall qualifying position with another reluctant but necessary DNF.
This weekend’s second road trip to Italy sees the #90 of Pablo Burguera, Antonio Sainero and Oliver Campos driven car take on a slightly different look after a change in livery colour scheme came to light in recent test sessions.
Competing amongst another combined multi-class grid of twenty-one cars, the #90 car did not take part within todays available private test sessions at the circuit with further test sessions being available tomorrow ahead of the start to the more formally timed sessions on Friday.
This time the race will be run as one instead of the half and half format that the series has utilised up until now with the race starting early at 09:30hrs local.

Two Aston Martin GT3s for the second round of the 24H Series from Spa Francorchamps
Two Aston Martin Racing powered crews this time grace the grid of Spa Francorchamps this weekend as the Creventic ran 24H Series hosts its second round of their European Series at the Belgian circuit.
Last time out from Mugello a month ago saw the Spanish based E2P Racing run their first race within the series with their new Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 Evo until gearbox and transmission issues arising after returning to the track after an innocuous looking spin off in the wet saw the #90 eventually withdrawn from the race.
Drivers Pablo Burguera, Antonio Sainero and Oliver Campos return to the #90 car for this customary two-part twelve-hour race over both Saturday and Sunday.
Joining them at the circuit for this event will also be the #40 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 Evo from the Comtoyou Racing team as they return to the Creventic family of series after their recent encounters within the Dubai 24hrs.
That car will be driven with a diverse line up of Frenchman Frederic Jousset, Mexican Sebastian Alverez and Brazilian Sergio Sette Camara amongst a mixed class entry of thirty-six cars.

Disappointing 24H Series Aston Martin Racing debut for the E2P racing team at Mugello
Having swapped from the Porsche to the Aston Martin chassis at the end of last season, the team had embarked upon a serious programme of pre-season testing with their new car and crew (with the additional racing input from AMR factory driver David Pittard) placing the #90 entry on a positive footing as the European series ventured to Italy for its opening twelve-hour round.
During both Free Practice and Qualifying, the Italian circuit was as beautiful as ever under the springtime sunshine but all of that had disappeared ahead of Saturday’s opening seven-hour stint to the twelve-hour race.
Starting P11 overall and competing within the GT3 Am class, the Pablo Burguera, Antonio Sainero and Oliver Campos driven car got off to a steady but sure start in the rain running as high as P5 overall in the opening ninety minutes or so.

Just behind the end of the opening three hours however, coming out of another Code 60 intervention, the #90 car of Burguera spun off but managed to stay on the tarmac. Returning to the correct direction meant the Spaniard had to go across the sodden grass infield and clearly the V8 engine wasn’t happy with its over revving to get back on track and the #90 car soon entered pit lane with a fire spitting engine out of the exhaust.
That was kind of where their opening race fell foul as the crew kept reporting power loss issues each time the car returned to the track and already by then, many laps down before the car was eventually withdrawn with before the end of the opening race session on Saturday.
The next round of the series will be from Spa Francorchamps at the end of April.

New AMR powered E2P Racing busy testing in Portimao ahead of 24 Series season start in Italy
Announced back in October as swapping from their usual Porsche power to that of the new Vantage GT3, the Spanish based E2P Group team have spent the last few days testing at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve with their new car – new list of drivers and a new bunch of help from the AMR factory team.
Due to compete within the 24H Series European Series, the team was out with drivers Pablo Burguera, Kosta Kanarogloy and Antonio Sainero under the watchful eyes of AMR technical engineers and driver David Pittard.
The 2025 24H European Series is due to kick off in Mugello in late March with four twelve-hour races in Italy, Belgium, and France before rounding off with a twenty four hour race in Spain in late September.
Soo far, this is the only Aston Martin that has been confirmed as competing within the series.

A late call up for Jamie Day at the Abu Dhabi 6hr
Again, fielding their #77 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 Evo for drivers Setiawan Santoso and brothers Mukong and Tanart Sathienthirakul after their series debut together just the weekend before at the Dubai 24, overnight sickness between Qualifying and race day for Thai TCR Asia racer Mukong meant that a late replacement had to be called in.
Having the benefit of residing close by back in Dubai, 2024 Aston Martin Racing Drivers Academy winner Jamie Day was close at hand to lend that assistance as the young Englishman struck off another racing first for himself as he sets about confirming his 2025 (presumably GT3 based) programme and continued his own programme of events within the Creventic run series having raced an identical AMR Vantage GT3 at Dubai with the Comtoyou Racing team.
However, that driver change put paid to their collective qualifying efforts of Saturday to land them starting Sunday’s race from near last in the grid of fifty-two cars in fortieth position.

At the end of the first of a six-hour race, the #77 car was already up within the top twenty overall before falling back outside of that margin by the time the race had reached its halfway stage. That position remained about the same as the drivers continued to cycle through their available stint lengths before the car was eventually brought home in P21 overall, nineth within their new Pro-Am class but only four laps behind the overall winner.
That and their P6 result in class from Dubai has left the team third overall in class by the end of this mini–Middle East Trophy Series. The team will now redirect their thoughts and attentions to the next four races of the Asian Le Mans Series that will be ran at both Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina in February.

Two AMR powered sets of drivers confirmed for next months Dubai 24
With the number of indeed names of car entries having fluctuated over recent weeks as proposals turned into realities, it appears that it will just be the Comtoyou Racing and Earl Bamber Motorsport teams representing the British brand at next month’s twentieth anniversary running of the event at the Dubai Autodrome.
Within the #40 Comtoyou entry we see another large Belgian contingent as Matisse Lismont remains with the team from his GT World Challenge Europe commitments earlier this season alongside that of WEC Corvette racer Tom Van Rompuy. They will be joined by British GT4 and European GT4 racer Jamie Day as he continues to step up from the GT4 class into GT3 ahead of a 2025 season.
Whilst the #41 Comtoyou sadly remains with a string of TBC’s aside its entry, that leaves the #77 EBM entry of Setiawan Santosa returning to the team after his GT World Challenge Asia commitments with them this season along two other Thai co-drivers.

Tanart Sathienthirakul is another proficient silver driver from the GT World Challenge Asia Series whilst Munkong Sathienthirakul comes from the TCR Asia ranks.
First track sessions of the Dubai 24 start on Monday 6th January with private testing before the 24 hour itself ran over the 11th and 12th January.
It now appears that it will be just the EBM AMR entry that now also runs within the 24H Series 6Hrs of Abu Dhabi the weekend after too.

Aston Martin Racings latest converts ahead of 2025
Confirmed late last month saw the Spanish based E2P Group and TSID Motorsport become the latest proud owners of a new AMR Vantage GT3 Evo but didn’t go as far as publicly confirming its chosen series pathway nor its drivers for next season after its shakedown test at Navarra.
Long standing Porsche racers within the Creventic 24H Series and BMW and Mini saloon racers within their own domestic marketplace, however, the Javier Morcillo lead team has now apparently made the switch to the British marque in time for next season 24H Series European Series that kicks off at Mugello in late March 2025.

A productive day for the two Aston Martins in 24H Series visit to Misano
It’s been a productive day for the two Aston Martin Racing Vantage powered teams entered into this weekend’s 24H Series 12 Hours of Misano.
Not having any AMR powered crew compete within a Creventic organised event for some time, it was great to see both the Street Art Racing team return to the series within one of their 17A variants of the Vantage GT4 as well as Prime Speed Sport reach out from New Zealand with their new Earl Bamber Motorsport prepared Vantage GT3.
Whilst early sessions in Italy were within the wet, today’s Qualifying session was better and both cars shone as the #407 Street Art Racing Vantage GT4 of Julien Darras, Pascal Bachmann and Jahid Fazal-Karim secured the top honours within the GT4/TCE classes by finishing first whilst the #42 Prime Speed Sport crew of Heremana Malmezac, Liam Talbot and Earl Bamber secured P7 overall and P3 within their GT3 Pro-Am class.
The race begins tomorrow at 10:00Hrs local.

Two Aston Martin crews due at 24H Series visit to Misano
‘Long time no see’ as far as Aston Martin powered teams are concerned within the Creventic Series, next weekend will see a further ad-hoc showing from the Belgian based Street Art Racing team with one of the Vantage GT4 platforms after they ran a ‘warm up’ event for drivers Pascal Bachmann and Jahid Fazal Karim at the last round of the FFSA GT4 Series at Spa Francorchamps. These two will be joined by Julien Darras.
Joining them amongst the twenty seven strong entry list will be the New Zealand based Prime Speed Sport with their #42 Pro-Am entered Vantage GT3.
Last time these guys were out within an Aston Martin was at the 12Hrs of Sepang earlier in March when drivers Francois Beziac, Heremana Malmezac and Jono Lester competed with an earl Bamber Motorsport prepared car. In a slight change of detail, this #42 Pro-Am entry will now be driven by Malmezac again but alongside the likes of both Liam Talbot and Earl Bamber himself.
Now that's a car to keep an eye on this weekend!!

Could this be the return of a once familiar team name?
Not expecting to see any Aston Martin Racing powered team listed amongst the seventy strong listing, we were pleasantly surprised to read of one such GT3 entry from a team that sounded mightily familiar for the #37 car.
Listed as an AMR Vantage GT3 entry from Modena Silverstone Ltd, a quick look upon the internet showed a retained connection between those behind this listing entry and that of Team Modena, a team that successfully ran the first customer Aston Martin DBR9 within the European Le Mans Series, FIA GT Championship and at Le Mans during the 2005 to 2008 period.
Like most things provisional, what we see today is not necessarily what you get on the day but to see the return of a Graham Schultz led outfit (who’s still listed as being in control of this Silverstone Innovations Park based company listed by Creventic) would be incredible, especially in this kind of livery format.
Let’s see what becomes of this over the intervening weeks as the race takes place in just over eight weeks’ time!

Three out of four Aston Martin's so far confirmed for the Dubai 24
Today’s news from TF Sport regarding their Pro-Am Class Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 entry in January’s 24H Series Dubai 24hr now places names behind three of the so far four Aston Martin’s presently listed upon the race’s provisional entry list.
Long term Creventic series racers in the UAE based Moutran brothers sees them re-joining forces Charlie Eastwood as well as experienced GT3 racer Sam De Haan, making for a potent force within the GT3 Pro-Am class which presently stands at twelve cars.
Joining them in that class shall be the PROsport Racing AMR Vantage GT3 crew of season long PROsport Racing clients of Maxime and Guillaume Dumarey alongside their Am drivers Jean Glorieux and Simon Balcaen.
Looking at the previous racing experience of all these drivers above, obviously with the exception of both Eastwood and De Haan, all the others appear set to travel to Dubai in the New Year to race in an AMR Vantage GT3 for the first time!
In the GT4 class, German based PROsport Racing also return to Dubai with one of their Aston Martin Vantage GT4’s that another set of their long-standing clients will again race. Last seen out sweeping the board in the Ultimate Speed Cup finale at Estoril has Rodrique Gillion again joining forces with driver coach and ‘resident’ team professional Nico Verdonck as well a another Dumarey – this time Guido aboard the #401 car.
Achieving parity in both the GT3 and GT4 classes but as yet without a confirmed drive line up, has the Heart of Racing team return to the 24H Series for another 24 hour after their heartache last weekend when a late gearbox failure saw them loose a class podium at the Sebring 24hr with just two hours remaining.
That is the expected entry for January’s event as of today, but as with any provisional entry list, we expect to see some manoeuvre on that over the next fifty days.

New clients take 'go to' team TF Sport to the 2022 Dubai 24Hr with one of their AMR GT3's
Brothers Ramzi, Nabil and Sami Moutran will be joined by Charlie Eastwood and silver-graded Sam De Haan. Eastwood previously tackled the 24 Hours of Dubai with the UAE-based brothers, where they claimed victory in the 991 Cup class in 2019.
Whilst the Moutrans are well known to the Creventic events, scoring multiple podiums and victories over the years, TF Sport will be making their 24H Series debut in January and will be looking to add to their twice-around-the-clock win tally, adding to their 24 Hours of Le Mans and 24 Hours of Spa first place-finishes.

Bullitt Racing announce next steps ahead of their 2022 Aston Martin Racing powered season
The Spanish-based squad are pushing to compete in the tenth edition of the Gulf 12 Hours in January, the Asian Le Mans Series and then the European-wide Michelin Le Mans Cup from the spring as well as selected other endurance rounds during the year.
While the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 may be new to the team, the driver pairing is not, bringing crucial stability to the team with known qualities to benchmark against.
Romain is an experienced Silver graded driver who has raced for a decade in a variety of sportscar categories, frequently showing race-winning pace to help him towards accolades such as victory at the 24 Hours of Spa in 2018.
The Frenchman started his racing career in the Porsche Carrera Cup before racing in the Blancpain GT Endurance Cup. He joined Bullitt Racing in 2019 to compete in the GT4 European Series, recording an impressive three podium positions, including two race wins, from the six-round championship.
Stephen raced under the Bullitt Racing name for the first time in 2017, alongside Andrew Meyrick in the GT4 European Pro-Am Championship. Guest entries followed in the Southern series with Ian Loggie and Callum MacLeod, securing podiums in each of the four rounds. Most recently, alongside Romain, he competed in the GT4 South European Series, taking victory at Estoril.
Bullitt Racing continue its test programme later this month at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and then MotorLand Aragón and will confirm its Asian Le Mans Series drivers shortly.

Heart of Racing confirm driver line up for 24H Series visit to Sebring
Now listed as the sole Aston Martin listed upon the provisional entry list for the Sebring leg of Creventic’s 24H Series, the Heart of Racing AMR Vantage GT4 has now been listed with its expected crew.
Again, based around the son of the man who supports the Heart of Racing global operation, the #423 car will see Gray Newell again team up with his 2021 GT4 America co-driver and GT America mentor Ian James as well as IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship GTD Sprint Champion Roman de Angelis as well as Alex Riberas to make a formidable foursome.
Having just completed his first season of competitive motorsport within the GT4 America and GT America series, Newell has quickly developed from the novice that he obviously was at their season opener at Sonoma in early March through to an individual race winner in class at the find round of the season at Indianapolis just over two weeks ago.
The entry list presently sits at thirty cars but does not now include the early entry indication from the PROsport Racing team but with the team now fielding both cars into this weekend’s final round of the ADAC GT4 Germany Series, it may just be for simple logistical reasons.
The twenty-four hours of Sebring takes place in just over two weeks’ time on the 19th November.

Bullitt Racing join the Aston Martin ranks with a multi-car multi-series GT3 effort in 2022
Today announcing a two car, multiple series racing commitment with a pair of AMR Vantage GT3’s, Bullitt Racing has also acquired full Partner status with the AMR factory that will see them also become Aston Martin’s regional agent for the Iberian Peninsula.
Established just five years ago by Stephen Pattrick, the Marbella based team was established to provide top end driver coaching (for its owner) and other decerning gentlemen drivers within what was initially a GT4 arena.
Entries into the GT4 European Series and the South Europe GT4 Series with their Mercedes AMG GT4 has proven the value of operating with factory supported cars, equipment and personnel and this new venture with Aston Martin Racing will be no different.
Today’s new outlines the team’s intention of entering a two car AMR Vantage GT3 line up in next seasons Michelin Le Mans Cup Series as well as entries within the next seasons Asian Le Mans Series, next year’s Gulf 12Hrs and their regional rounds of the Creventic 24H Series with drivers and partners all yet to be confirmed.
What we do know is that the car shown testing was delivered to the team a few weeks ago and is the ex. Nicki Thiim/Marco Sorensen NLS 8 / Spa 24 Aston Martin, a car that saw out David King’s reign at the team as President in the most fitting way possible. A quick clean done and service later and the car was delivered straight to the team at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya from Germany for wrapping and testing. We believe that their second car will be delivered over the year.
