Jan Charouz awarded with FIA Talent of the Year Award

Jan Charouz, Czech racing driver and winner of Le Mans Series 2009, obtained on
Saturday the FIA Talent of the Year Award from the hand of FIA president Jean Todt.
Jan Charouz was awarded in the course of FIA Central European Zone Prize Giving
Ceremony, that took place in Sveti Stefan (Montenegro). With this trophy FIA acknowledged the talent and abilities of young Czech driver. In last three years Jan Charouz has been focusing on sports car endurance racing. Although he was one of the youngest drivers on the grid, from the first races he also belonged into the group of the fastest drivers. He showed his abilities this year winning together with his Aston Martin Racing teammates Tomas Enge andStefan Mücke Le Mans Series in drivers, teams and manufacturer classification.


Jan Charouz: „I really make the most of this award. This year I completed the university,nevertheless I did my best to keep getting better on the racing tracks. Results of Le Mans Series and this award signalize, that it was not redundant effort. I am really happy, that FIA decided to give this award right to me.“
