Villois Racing: GT Open Nurburgring race report

Sunday, May 02, 2010

The second DBRS9 GT3# 53 driven by Gianandrea Crespi has started its championship, too. This was his official debut in the European GT panorama.
He was alone because his father will not run any more even if in good health back again.
Courage and physical effort were needed to sustain the whole weekend’s race alone. A contact in the Saturday race forced him to withdraw, but on Sunday his race was just perfect and consolidated his potential abilities as shown early in the weekend.

A further step forward for the team formed by Lancieri and Lancelotti who proved a better feeling with the car in the free runs on Friday, and confirmed it by a third placing in the Pro-Am race on Saturday and a 4th placing in the Sunday race.

Still in the yellow GT2 granted by Aston Martin Racing Wiser and Guerrero improved their knowledge of the car. In the Sunday race, in fact, they were sixth.

While waiting for a new car for Imola, the data we have available offer indications about what has to be done to obtain some performance improvements.
