Beechdean Motorsport: Back in British GT with the Aston Martin DBRS9

Beechdean Motorsport will return to the British GT Championship in 2011 with an Aston Martin DBRS9 driven by Andrew Howard and Jonathan Adam.

“The British GT field looks the strongest it’s been for many years,” said Howard, who who finished third in his one-off return to the series at Silverstone last year. “Although the Aston is getting on a bit, it is incredibly reliable and, at the right tracks, is still a very fast car.”

“It’s good to be back and I’m excited to be doing British GT," said Adam, who raced in the BTCC in 2009 before moving to sports car racing in 2010, winning on his debute in the Ginetta G50 Cup.

“I shouldn’t have too many problems getting used to the car. There are a lot of new cars so it will be a tough year, but I can’t see why we can’t challenge for regular podiums and finish in the top three or four in the championship.”
