Aston Martin V8 Vantage Joins Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge

The Aston Martin Vantage will make its Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge debut in 2012 with Multimatic Motorsports campaigning a solo V8 Vantage in the GRAND-AM sanctioned series.
Multimatic - a world leader in suspension and composite technology - have previously worked worked with Aston Martin to develop the full carbon fibre monocoque chassis found One-77 Super Car as well as the suspension found on the Vantage based V12 Zagato.
2008 GRAND-AM Continental Sports Car Challenge Grand Sport champions Scott Maxwell and Joe Foster will debut the GS class racer at the Daytona January test.
Another Aston Martin SCC team is expected to be announced shortly.
