Aston Martin's GT12 VLN journey continues

Friday, September 04, 2015

Aston Martin's special little project car, the Vantage GT12 continues its racing development at the Nordschleife this weekend with VLN 7 and the Opel 6Hr Ruhr Pokal Rennen.

For this race gone are the Aston Martin Test Centre and Aston Martin St Gallen gentleman drivers to be replaced with professional Liam Talbot who is returning to the car for the first time since the Nurburgring 24 (we think) together with the highly accomplished gentleman driver and businessman Mathias Huttenrauch.

Being familiar with the characteristics of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, Huttenrauch already holds an impressive VLN track record of 4 races, 2 wins and three podiums in the SP10 class in 2015.

Placing him with someone like Talbot will be very interesting!!

Race starts at 12.00Hrs local.
