Beechdean also ready for the off in British GT

This weekend will see an exhilarating start to the highly successful British GT championship at the undulating Brands Hatch in Kent. As the championship enters into its 24th competitive season, Beechdean AMR will be defending their British GT3 and GT4 class titles.

The first round of the popular British GT championship at Brands Hatch will be a 2 hour race, boast a full grid of 32 cars, 64 drivers and 10 different car manufactures. Double British GT GT3 champion Andrew Howard, will be joined by Aston Martin Racing factory driver, and British GT GT4 champion Ross Gunn in the Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V12 GT3

Andrew commented on the upcoming race this weekend stating “I am really excited to be back in the British GT as reigning champion. There have been a lot of changes in the team this year and the key is to build solid results."

Ross Gunn, who is understandably excited about his new challenge said “I am excited to get the British GT underway. It’s my first season in GT3, so expectations are low for now, but I am hoping to learn as much as possible. It’s great to have the continued support of Beechdean and AMR this year, and hopefully Andrew and I can get some points.”

New drivers, Jordan Albert and Jack Bartholomew, will be at the wheel of the highly successful Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4. Jordan Albert commented on the upcoming race saying “Brands Hatch is one of my favourite tracks. I am looking forward to the weekend, especially after a long winter break.” Jack Bartholomew commented on the weekend ahead, saying “We have a great team and I’m excited to see what the weekend will bring. This is a new challenge for me and I am looking forward to learning everything I can."

With weather conditions expected to be unpredictable throughout the weekend, surprises will be aplenty. Spectators are expected to be in for a thrilling opening championship race.
