Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) are ready to take part in the 84th running of the prestigious Le Mans 24 hour.

The 24 hour classic, that embodies the FIA World Endurance Championship, will see a stunning grid of 60 sports cars and 180 drivers compete for overall and class honours on Circuit De la Sarthe. This will be in front of an expected trackside crowd of over 600,000, as well as 120 million television viewers.

During Wednesday and Thursday's Qualifying Practice sessions, the Factory Aston Martin Racing run #Beechdean99 V8 GTE was successfully able to qualify for the race in the hands of driving trio Andrew Howard, Liam Griffin and Gary Hirsch.

"To race at Le Mans is a dream come true." Said an excited Howard. "It's something that every pro and gentleman driver aims for and I am honoured to be competing. Roll on 3PM on Saturday"

Team mate Griffin stated, "As the race approaches there is an obvious feeling of excitement. This is such a legendary race that you really want to do it justice and you feel you have a responsibility not to let it down. That said the car and team are as good as it gets and we as drivers are as ready as we could ever be!

2015 LMP2 European Le Mans series champion Gary Hirsch brings some handy knowledge and experience to the team. The Swiss driver said, "Being at Le Mans on an Aston Martin Racing entry feels special. It will be my third Le Mans. Our focus will be on getting the job done and I'll bring all my experience to the team to cross the finish line with Andrew and Liam."
