Jarman renews past acquaintances

Monday, July 04, 2016

It was great to see that the British GT Championship has today confirmed the return of the 2014 British GT GT4 Vice Champion Andrew Jarman for the remainder of its 2016 season.

Rejoining Stratton Motorsport, the team that helped him to earn the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge title back in 2013 this announcement will see him race beside last years AMOC GT4 Cup (the successive championship title to the previous GT4 Challenge) title holder David Tinns, who himself has already competed in the British GT Championship this years opening round at Brands Hatch with fellow GT4 Cup racer Robin Marriott.

Coming back into the championship at the half way mark this announcement should only be construed as a training aid for his parallel GT3 Le Mans Cup entry with a TF Sport prepared V12 Vantage GT3 that Jarman kicked off his european 2016 season with at Le Mans last month.

Their efforts will start this weekend when the championship travels to the iconic Spa Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for their customary two hour european adventure that takes place on Saturday.
