Autoclub Excelsior confirm line up for Spa GT3 LMC
Monday, September 19, 2016
Belgium team Brussels Racing have had their second driver confirmed for this weekends Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup series visit to Spa Francorchamps.
Completing the twelve car entry for the penultimate round of the 2016 season, the distinctive yellow and white Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage will be driven by team regulars Tim Verbergt and Michaƫl Schmetz in the #90 Autoclub Excelsior cap badged car.
That duo was last seen out in that car at the corresponding round of the 2015 International GT Open series where they finished on the podium in both races so their local knowledge is not to be underestimated.
Verbergt and Schmetz (seen on RHS) will only be contesting this round of the championship that races on the European Le Mans Series package but their entry at least increases the numbers in what would otherwise be a Ferrari dominated line up.
Saturdays two hour will start at 17:30 hrs (local) and will be streamed live on the GT3 LMC website.
