News in brief

Being away from home with the same old issue of intermittent broadband there's just enough time to bring you these updates.

Firstly, we see the return of the CMRT by Eurasia Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage at the fourth round of the Blancpain GT Asia Series at Fuji Sppedway. Despite missing races 5 & 6 from Suzuka, drivers James Cai and Kenneth Lim still lay third in the GT3 Am Championship.

Over at Silverstone today, Italian based Solaris Motorsport tested their GT3 ahead of next months round of the International GT Open Series. The team elected to site out the last round of the series at the Hungaroring to undertake more testing and set up work after their original chassis was written off in winter testing at Paul Ricard.

Finally, and with only a week to go before the opening round of the Australian Endurance Championship from Sydney Motorsport Park we have still to hear from last years winners from Miedecke Stone Motorsport as to their participation in the SMP101 event. They were certainly due to enter but that has yet to be confirmed.
