What 24H from CoTA means for De La Torre Racing

De La Torre Racing is set to take on the 1st Creventic 24H Championship at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.

“We can’t say enough, we are honored to present a talented group of drivers that come from diverse regions,” said Jorge De La Torre, DLT Racing CEO and Owner. Upcoming November 10-12th at the Circuit of the Americas, the drivers will proudly represent De La Torre Racing as well as their home countries Mexico, USA, England and South Korea. “As for the De La Torre racing family, selecting the correct drivers for the Aston Martin GT3 racing program is just as important as building and preparing the car. We believe we have the best car, crew and now we have the best drivers to match this amazing car”, stated CEO/Owner Jorge De La Torre.


Over the past 5 years, De La Torre Racing has gained recognition and various Pirelli World Challenge podiums all around the US, Mexico and England. The team has demonstrated rigorous work, dedication and success from the single driver to multiple driver format in various championship series in the US. “For us, Circuit of the Americas is our home track and we plan on using our experiences gained from countless hours spent at this amazing track to achieve a win,” stated CEO/Owner/Driver Jorge De La Torre.

Jorge De La Torre began his professional career competing in an Aston Martin GT4 and quickly moved up to an Aston Martin GT3. In 2016, Jorge participated in seven GTA and four SprintX GT races in which he gained endurance for this upcoming 24H race. He has scored four top 5s and seven top 10s in the GTA championship. In addition, he gained three top 5s and four top 10s in SprintX GT. Overall, Jorge finished 5th in SprintX championship, 6th in GTA championship and 3rd place at the Circuit of the Americas in 2017. Jorge De La Torre through his years of driving has gained a vast of experience, endurance and recognition that will help him this upcoming 24H Endurance race at COTA.


Mark Kvamme brings endless experience from competing in a variety of race championships with distinctive type of cars. He began his successful racing career in 2014 racing in Porsche Mobile 1 Supercup. Marks’ experience includes racing in United Sports Car Chamionship, Ferrari Challenge North America, IMSA Weather Tech Sports Car Championship, Michelin Le Mans Cup and Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA. Mark brings vast of natural talent to De La Torre Racing team and will play a huge role in leading our team to a win this upcoming 24H championship.

Tack Sung Kim has vast experience racing in Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific and successful racing career since 2011. Tack has transitioned to Asian Le Mans Series-LMP2 and continues to grow with his achievements in this series (2015 to present time).


Ross Gunn is a British Racing Driver that constitutes our team for the 24H Endurance race at COTA. Ross has competed in British GT with Beechdean Aston Martin Racing and gain immense experience driving Aston Martin GT3. In December 2015, Ross signed with Aston Martin Racing as a factory driver after his successful win in the Evolution Academy.
