The ultimate lockdown purchase

Having only raced in the German DTM Series for just one season last year, it was thought that all four of R-Motorsports Aston Martin silhouetted race cars had been sold into private ownership.

That may have been true but this week sees all four cars appear again appear for sale on the Racecarsdirect.com website via the teams former engine building partner HWA AG. After failed attempts to secure a new engine supplier for the 2020 season, the Swiss based team ultimately announced a termination to their DTM ambitions at the beginning of the year.
