Street Art Racing waiting for better times in Europe before re-committing

Saturday, July 18, 2020

Belgium website Speed Magazine have recently published a piece concerning the now apparent omission of the reigning GT4 European Series Am Class Champions - Belgium based Street Art Racing from this years various European calendars.

Speaking with Team Principle Albert Bloom, he confirmed that the post COVID-19 lockdown situation in Europe left them with a similar problem to what the Swiss based R-Motorsports also found themselves in with certainly all early events all being conducted behind closed doors or with restricted public access - that all went contrary to their business model of their corporate hospitality model for their sponsors and guest.

Whilst the whole piece can be read HERE, the team have certainly not totally excluded themselves from all events this year should the situation change and even offered the prospect of seeing their former Jota Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT2 out somewhere on the Historics trail as well as one, two or even three of their AMR Vantage GT4's!!

Sadly for us, this news comes after seeing the SAR Team being one of the first to conduct any preseason testing this year at Paul Ricard before everything came to a grinding halt in March.
