Completing a round number of three podium finishes of the weekend for an Aston Martin Racing Customer or Partner team and also a trilogy of podium finishes for themselves over this and last weekend, saw the PROsport Racing team claim another class win at the end of the latest 24H Series event today in Germany.

Having claimed two class podiums during the opening races of the GT Open Cup Series last weekend at Paul Ricard, the #401 crew of Nico Verdonck, Rodrique Gillion and Hurt Hensen moved over to the Hockenheim Ring in Germany for the third round of the 24H Series there and a twelve hour – two-part race there.

Put onto the back foot with accident damage incurred during Qualifying on Saturday, the #401 finished the first halve of the race some six laps behind the Samantha Tan lead BMW GT4 but after issues for the #438 ST Racing BMW landed that car in the pits during Sunday’s second six hours of racing, that handed ultimate GT4 class victory to the #401 crew by margin of forty seven laps.

Despite their non-finish, the #438 car was classified as a finisher in class meaning that both the #438 and #401 cars are now tied on 58 points apiece in the GT4 table as the series moves on to Portimao in Portugal for another 24 hour race in the middle of July.
