Invigorated by their first World Endurance Championship GTE Am podium success at Monza two weeks ago, the D’Station Racing team have returned home in time for the next round of their domestic Super Taikyu Series.

Competing this weekend from the Autopolis Circuit, the #777 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 crew of Satoshi Hoshino, Tomonobu Fujii and Tsubasa Kondo retain a slender thirteen-point lead after the three previous rounds within the six car ST-X class with a race win last time out in fuji.

The team’s #47 AMR Vantage GT4 car of Tatsuya Hoshino, Max Orido, Takuro Shinohara and Kenji Hama again competes in a highly competitive ten car ST-X class but suffered from an timely DNF with an unrepairable exhaust issues last time out at Fuji back in mid-May. That result dropped them down to P5 in class despite still being classified as a finisher, some 33.5 points now behind the Class leader with just two more rounds to go after this weekend.

This weekend’s five-hour round will have an entry of an expected forty-nine cars across all classes.
