After their mid-season ‘hiccup’ in race series, German based PROsport Racing are looking at the early signs of another multi-series race programme in 2022 for their pair of Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4’s.
In their latest team communication, team boss Christoph Esser has confirmed intentions to compete in both the GT4 European Series and ADAC GT4 Germany Series as well as the Nordschleife Langstrecken Serie (including the Nurburgring 24hr) for which he already has a list of confirmed drivers except for one seat in their GT4 Germany Series entry.
In the NLS, it also appears that the team will be fielding one of their AMR Vantage GT3 cars for the 2022 season with an ‘existing line up’ with the possibility of a second Vantage GT3 during selected rounds as well.
“I am very happy that we can announce our full program for the coming season at such an early stage and that with one exception all the drivers that we will announce at a later date have already signed their contracts. Now I'm looking forward to Christmas, to a few days of rest. We don't have a winter break, we will travel to Dubai for the first race on January 8th. In all honesty, I'm really looking forward to 2022" said Esser.
“What started in 2019 with an extremely difficult and disappointing season is increasingly proving to be a good deal for us, namely the collaboration with Aston Martin and running the Vantage GT4. We will even purchase two more Vantage GT4s for our vast program."
The team will be entering both an Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 and GT4 in Dubai next month for two crews of established drivers who have raced with the team through the afor mentioned series this season.
