Eight AMR Vantage GT4s at FFSA GT4 Official Test at Nogaro

Monday, March 21, 2022

Thirty-five GT4 cars descended upon the Circuit de Nogaro in the southwest of France today for the Official Test of the French National FFSA GT4 Series.

At this time (so far), not a lot of information nor photographs have come out of the event, but we can see however that the entry list for the test did contain the team names and numbers of EIGHT Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4 powered teams although drivers were not specifically listed.

Four cars as expected were listed from the AGS Events Racing team – we are assuming for the already declared partnerships of Nicolas Gomar/Loris Cabirou, Ewen Hachez/Hugo Bac, Didier Dumaine/Christophe Carriere and Stephane/Desbrosse.

There were also two cars listed from recent AMR convertees racing Spirit of Lemans when we only know of one so far – that of Romain Carton and Victor Weyrich and one each from both Mirage Racing and GPA Racing.

Whilst we do know that Valentin Hasse-Clot and Romano Ricci have already been declared aboard their new Mirage Racing entry and that of the GPA Racing entry that has so far not been officially ratified by the team/series, we have yet to hear of any co-driver for Mirage Racings Ruben Del Sarte and any driver line up aboard the second GPA Racing car – if any!

With the start to their season starting in less than a month’s time at Nogaro, we won’t have too much longer to wait for that finer detail.
