Le Mans 24Hr GTE Am Class - #777 D'Station Racing with TF Sport AMR Vantage GTE Gallery

Whilst the #33 TF Sport and #98 Northwest AMR crews enjoyed the spoils of their 24 Hours of Le Mans success, the opposite end of the racing spectrum was sadly the case for the #777 D’Station Racing crew of Satoshi Hoshino, Tomonobu Fujii and Le Mans debutant Charlie Fagg.
Having qualified second fastest between the trio of Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE runners, the car was circulating within a healthy top half of the GTE Am class table as the day turned to night at the end of the first third of the race.
Unfortunately just before midnight, Fagg would limp the car back to the pit box with what would turn out to be race ending rear suspension damage – nothing obvious as we would later observe the car from behind the lowered pit lane door, no obvious external damage from contact but apparently damaged beyond repair deep within the structural integrity of the car.
A great shame for a new driver combination that started off their second year within the World Endurance Championship so well at the opening round at Sebring to now lie tenth in the full season table of thirteen cars.
