The entry list for this weekend’s third and fourth races of the resurgent GT World Challenge Asia from the Suzuka International Circuit has now been released confirming a mixed class grid of twenty-five cars for this and opening round of the Japan Cup.

As revealed over the winter, the D’Station Racing team have already been confirmed as the sole Aston Martin Racing representative within the series, competing with one of their AMR Vantage GT3’s for drivers Satoshi Hoshino and Tomonobu Fujii in the Pro-Am class.

With the Series having been constructed in such a way programme wise, the new Japan Cup element negates the need to constant travelling into and out of Japan (for COVID related reasons) although both Hoshino and Fujii have just competed in the latest round of the World Endurance Championship last weekend from Monza, Italy. The round at Suzuka and the next three rounds of the GTWCAsia Series will all be held within Japan.

The entry list reveals a GT3 grid of seventeen cars alongside eight GT4 cars with a couple of familiar names registered with other teams/platforms.

Track action begin with some private testing this Thursday before two – hour long races over both Saturday and Sunday.
