It was a dominating performance from the Accelerating Performance Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4 of Moisey Uretsky as he led his GSX Bronze Cup class through from start to finish at the second round of the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge from Sebring earlier today.

Having opened the new for 2023 series back at the opening IMSA round around Daytona International Speedway at the Roar before the 24 back in January, this weekend’s second round was unfortunately with the absence of live TV as they again played a supporting role, this time with the World Endurance Championship Official Prologue test at the circuit.

Joining Uretsky from the AMR camp was again Todd Coleman with his green liveried #69 Archangel prepared car alongside a series debutant from the Automatic Racing team with Ramin Abdolvahabi racing solo for the first time in recent years with the Stoner Car Care #09 car.

Competing again with two forty-five-minute races shoehorned into the track diary feature two three-hour WEC testing sessions one each day saw Uretsky qualify highest of the three for race one in 4th (P1 Bronze Cup) having been there or there abouts over the two proceeding Free Practice sessions too with Coleman P8 in class (P4 Bronze Cup) and Abdolvahabi P13 overall (P8 Bronze Cup).

From that early morning start for race one, Uretsky held station to claim one better than his best result in the series so far by taking the Bronze Cup win in fourth overall in GSX with Coleman taking P8 overall and P3 in Bronze Cup to compliment his P4 and P5 finishes so far. Abdolvahabi would come home P13 overall and P8 in Bronze Cup.

To wrap their weekend up under the still blazing Floridian sun saw the Miami based Uretsky repeat his accolades of the opening race for another P4 overall in GSX finish to claim a second Bronze Cup win ahead that of Coleman and Abdolvahabi who would finish P8/P5 and P10/P10 respectively.

There will now be a long break in the racing proceedings of this LMP3/GT4 based series with the next round due from the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park over the first weekend in July.
