FFSA GT4 all set to go at Nogaro with the AMR runners pushing the pace

Running a slightly different Easter race programme to their SRO sister series in the UK sees the French FFSA GT4 Series getting down to business with the first Qualifying session and race tomorrow ahead of a repeat on Monday.

The series shas already held its annual ‘get together’ and autograph session down in Nogaro town last night and has today runs its two Free Practice sessions ahead of tomorrow morning’s Qualifiers at the Circuit Paul Armagnac de Nogaro where eight of the thirty-six runners are Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4’s.


Running something of a symmetrical line up with two cars apiece from each of the Mirage Racing, GPS Racing, Racing Spirit of Lemans and AGS Events Racing teams, this morning’s Free Practice session saw the silver #7 Mirage car of Louis Meric and Romain Carton head the Aston Martin pack in eight overall (running third in class) with the #92 Racing Spirit of Lemans car of Victor Weyrich and Mateo Villagomez just behind.

The sister #74 Racing Spirit of Lemans car of Clement Dub and Ronald Basso headed the AM class runners in twelfth overall with the highest placed Pro-Am car of #89 AGS Events Racing’s Hugo Bac and Nicolas Gomar P21 overall.


The days second Free Practice session saw the #92 RSLM car hit the top of the timing screen with the #7 Mirage car improve to P7 overall with the #74 RSLM car again heading the Am class as did the #89 car in Pro-Am.


Qualifying takes place at 09:00hrs local tomorrow ahead of the first hour long race of the season at 15:25hrs local. Race two will be at 14:15 on Monday.
