Street Art Racing continue within the GT Open series with their AMR Vantage GT3 and GT4

The International GT Open and GT Cup Open Europe kick off their opening rounds to their 2023 season this weekend with a sizeable contingent of GT3 race cars within the GT Open and a growing number of GT4 based cars within the other.

Thirty-three GT3 cars to be exact, will travel down to the Autodromo de Internacional do Algarve near Portimao for their traditional Saturday and Sunday, pit stop punctuated races for entries competing within their Pro, Pro-Am and Am classes.

The Belgium based Street Art Racing team last year entered the sole Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 for driver Pascal Bachmann and they do the same this season, but this time Bachmann will have a co-driver for much of the time but not necessarily the same one throughout.

For this round, he will be partnered by fellow SAR team driver Jahid Fazal-Karim as he steps up to the GT3 class for the first time this season having been part of the team’s GT4 2022 campaign alongside team driver coach Julien Darras.

Not letting the team’s available Vantage GT4 cars go to waste see Karim’s son, Jayan take his place alongside Darras in the two races of the GT Cup Open Europe Series.

Later in the season, we may see an additional AMR Vantage GT3 join the GT Open ranks as well.
