Aston Martin Racings latest recruit announces dual GT3 and GT4 programmes in 2024

Audi Motorsport’s loss has turned into Aston Martin Racing’s gain as Belgian racing team Comtoyou Racing today confirmed their realigning of powerhouse allegiances ahead of an expected dual class racing programme in 2024.

Presently competing within the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with an Audi R8 GT3, that factory’s recent decision to curtail their customer racing programme from the end of 2023 has forced many to seek alternative arrangements.

Tempted with the performances of an AMR Vantage GT3 together with an evolutionary kit which is still under test and development, the Jean Michel Baert led team today confirmed both a Vantage GT3 and Vantage GT4 commitment next season in series yet to be confirmed.

At last weekend’s European Le Mans Series event at Spa Francorchamps, one prominent figure within Aston Martin Racing commented to us that “if we think we’re busy this season, next season will be a whole lot busier” and today’s news is seen as just the first stage of that ramping up.

There was also further comments made to expect further announcements as early as next week too.
