End of an era as CSJ Motorsport step away from their Aston Martin Racing connection

As the 2023 season comes to an end, CSJ Motorsports and company principals Susan and Cy Jary are focusing on their next venture in international motorsports. After serving as the Official North American distributor and parts supplier for Aston Martin Racing (AMR) the last four years, CSJ declined earlier this season to participate in the manufacturer's request for bids for the position in 2024 and beyond and is pursuing other options within the motorsports industry.

"We are grateful for the opportunity to serve as the official North American distributor and parts supplier for Aston Martin Racing the last four years, which was a very successful period for the brand and its racing programs in North America," Cy Jary said. "We want to thank all of the great teams and drivers we were fortunate enough to get to know and work with for all of the support, but it was our privilege to be able to support and work with them."

Successful entrepreneurs who own businesses in the construction industry, the Jarys expanded their operations into motorsports for the first time in 2019. Although newcomers to motorsports, the Jarys used their business experience to zero in on the needed areas of improvement in AMR's at-track support.

"We were told by several groups and individuals in the paddock when we entered the sport that the previous support for AMR teams was not on par with other manufacturers in major league sports car racing," Susan Jary said. "We listened to what each and every individual and team said and strived from the beginning to improve the level of service provided for all. The goal with any project is to leave it better than you found it and we can say with confidence we were able to accomplish that the last four years."

Based in San Antonio, Texas, the Jarys are in a unique position of not needing to stay in motorsports but deliberately wanting to continue in the industry.

"We learned early on that racing is a way of life and, for the most part, you are privileged to work with some great organizations run by some of the most talented and intelligent people from around the world that you could meet," Susan Jary said. "We enjoy the sport, the people and the lifestyle and look forward to what the future brings."
