A bouyant NINE Aston Martin Racing powered entry within this seasons GT World Challenge Europe Series

Thursday, March 06, 2025

With its Prologue test at Paul Ricard just three days away, the GT World Endurance Europe Series have finally published the entry lists for both their forthcoming Endurance Cup and Sprint Series.

Ahead of this joint ten round campaign, a mighty ten manufacturers are now taking part within the series with a fifty-nine-car spread expected for the Endurance rounds and a further forty-one car entry for the shorter sprint races.

As far as Aston Martin Racing powered teams are concerned, they are again well represented with both the Belgian based Comtoyou Racing and the German based Walkenhorst Motorsport teams figure highly in both series this time as well as a welcome additional extra.

Within the Sprint Cup Series, the Comtoyou Racing team will again enter two AMR Vantage GT3 Evo powered teams with one in the bronze class and another in the silver (both of whom we may have seen out already within the GT Winter Series a couple of times) whilst the Walkenhorst will field a Pro entry.

Then within the Endurance Cup side of things, we will see a mighty six AMR car entry from both teams as well as the arrival within competitive racing of that Red Bull liveried AMR Vantage GT3 that has been testing at various location all winter – one that carries the Verstappen name!

That will be a Gold class entry c/o of the 2 Seas Motorsport team with drivers Thierry Vermeulen, Chris Lulham and Harry King already confirmed.

The other teams will have both a Pro and Silver entry apiece with the #11 Comtoyou Racing entry yet to be confirmed class wise. As with all the Comtoyou Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsport entries, their driver rosters are yet to be confirmed but more light will inevitably come out during the test.

The opening rounds of the 2025 season will be from Paul Ricard for the Endurance Cup in mid-April and from Brands Hatch for the Sprint Cup in early May.
