Driver changes and a new AMR entry for this weekends Le Mans Cup concluding round

Wednesday, October 15, 2025

Today sees a big change in driver line for the #11 Code Racing Development Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 for this weekend’s final round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup Series at Portimao as well as an additional entry.

The earlier provisional entry list again showed the usual Philipp Sager again being paired up with Valentin Hasse-Clot in lieu of an absent Rory Van Der Steur but today sees even that change to a whole new pairing.

Now confirmed by the Series we see Frenchman Pascal Huteau join forces with Swiss based racer David Kullmann for reasons not yet specified by the team although todays two test sessions saw Hasse-Clot take to the track for the first time with the #11 car.

There was also the presence of #91 Blackthorn AMR Vantage GT3 with drivers Alexander Martin and Charles Bateman listed under the usual tutelage of AMR factory driver Jonny Adam.

Whilst Hasse-Clot was expectedly the fastest within the morning session, he did not participate any further in the test whilst the #91 car certainly have work to do together as being at the bottom of the morning session timing screen with only three laps being run after lunch as the series now moves into its more formally timed sessions.
