Feathers Motorsport chasing more than just the GTH Class crown in this weekends GT Cup finale

Another Aston Martin Racing powered crew in both class and indeed overall championship hunt this weekend is the #82 Feathers Motorsport Vantage GT4 of Archie Clark and Tom Canning as the GT Cup Championship reaches its finale in Norfolk.

With two sprint and two endurance races still upon the cards at Snetterton, the #82 crew will have their work cut out to maintain their GTH Class championship lead over the ever-improving pair of Ginetta GT4 crews but another good performance from these young guns could even see them make a late charge towards the overall championship crown at the end.

As usual this season, the #82 crew will not be the sole AMR powered crew as Matt Eddolls and Sam Maher-Loughan return with their #95 Oselli Motorsport AMR Vantage GT4 Evo – something which the pair have been dialling into their style of driving since acquiring their new car just after the season start.

For them, their fourth place within the GTH Class is secure and they are unlikely to bridge the 83 points deficit to the #30 Ginetta crew ahead regardless of the events on track.

For the #82 crew, however, they go into this final round with a much reduced 53-point lead and will again race under the format of Clark racing solo within each of the weekend’s two twenty-five-minute sprint races before calling upon the racing services of the former AMR Drivers Academy winner for the two fifty-minute pit stop punctuated endurance rounds.

Good luck to these guys this weekend.
