A new AMR entry within IMSAs VP Racing Sportscar Challenge next weekend in Canada

 

 

We appear to have a new driver and team to support as the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge Series makes it way to the Canadian Tires Motorsport Tires circuit for next weekend’s seventh round of the season.

Ismaeel Ellahi will move across to the Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4 Evo with the Czabok Simpson Motorsport (CSM) team for the remainder of the IMSA sanctioned series starting in Canada.

 

Ellahi steps over from the Porsche platform which he has raced in both North America and in Europe and comes through the ranks within this year’s IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship programme.

His #25 entry will make up for a ten strong GSX class of ten (GT4) based cars with single drivers as well as seven further LMP3 crews for next weekend’s two races.
