The Belgian based Comtoyou Racing team step up this year to fill the void left by Aston Martin Racing and its Partner and Customer team base by having two of their Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3’s accepted into this year’s FIA GT World Cup at Macau.

With the event confirming an eighteen strong GT3 line up at the Macau Grand Prix event, the Comtoyou Racing team have entered by Marco Sorensen and Jamie Day as a two-car entry with the Dane competing within the topflight platinum class and with the Dubai based Brit in a more familiar silver class guise.

We apparently have to look back as far as 2015 to witness the last such result of merit from any AMR Vantage GT3 team within this event where German racer Stefan Mucke (someone who is still seen within the GT/sportscar paddock today) secured pole position before going onto finish third in his #97 Craft Bamboo V12 AMR Vantage. 2021 did see David Pun and the Uno Racing team give the new turbo era of Vantage GT3 its first run out around the street circuit layout.

This event is scheduled to take place across the 19th – 22nd November.
