Happy new year from Young Driver AMR!
Young Driver AMR experienced its most successful season so far. In the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship, Young Driver AMR, Kristian Poulsen and David Heinemeier won the FIA World Endurance Trophy for teams and drivers in the GTE-Am class. On route to win the World Championship, Poulsen and Heinemeier Hansson set a milestone for Young Driver AMR, when they took a class win at the 24 hours of Le Mans together with Nicki Thiim. Young Driver AMR secured the first three positions in the GTE-Am drivers championship with Christoffer Nygaard in the runner up spot and Thiim third.
This truly remarkable achievement would not have possible without the great efforts and dedication of everybody involved.
I would like to thank all fans, drivers, partners and sponsors, everybody at Aston Martin Racing and the media for a brilliant 2014 season.
We are looking forward to the challenges ahead of us next season and I would like to wish everybody a healthy and prosperous year 2015.
